SANCHEZ has done it again; he out did even himself at the VP Records' 25th
Anniversary show at Bicentennial Park downtown Miami on the
30th May. There, for over 30 minutes, his contribution had
30,000 music lovers eating out of his hands. Immediately preceding
that show, on May 28th, over 5,000 Caymanians were treated
to a historic performance from the Reggae singing sensation.
On May 1st he played to a recording breaking crowd as the
only billed artiste, at MOBS II in Trinidad, pulling in over
10,000 fans with his Chronic Band. These shows concluded the
North American and Caribbean segments of Sanchez’s “No
More Heartache” world tour of 2004. That leg also included
shows in Nassau and Grand Bahamas Islands, plus over 39 cities
in the USA. The dynamic crooner and his supporting acts, long
time collaborator Flourgon and former Motown recording artiste
Richie Stevens; played to overwhelming crowds.
