Sanchez, LUST for 30-city US tour
Acclaimed reggae vocalist, Kevin Jackson, more popularly known as Sanchez, is preparing to start a hectic 30-city US tour, which will take him along the country’s eastern seaboard, and into cities he has never played before.
Sanchez will be joined by popular singing group, LUST, which comprises Lukie D, Trilla U, Singing Melody and Tony Curtis. The tour is scheduled to kick off on May 11 and will take the artistes to cities such as Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Bronx, Brooklyn, Rhode Island, Cape Cod, .Hartford, North Carolina, Norfolk and Maryland, ve been going quite well and the artistes are looking forward to conquering new territory, re-visiting their favourite cities and overall, just giving fans the best they have to offer. Hip-hop Grammy nominee Ludacris & Reggae/Dancehall super star Sanchez hit the Island of St. Martin with spectacular performances.
Thousands of Hip-Hop and reggae/Dancehall fans turned out to see the two super stars up close and personal. This was the 4th time for Sanchez in St. Martin, while it was a maiden voyage for Ludacris.

Sanchez mesmerizes the U.K as Jamaicans celebrate 43rd Anniversary of Independence
Crossing the Atlantic, Sanchez reclaimed the cities of Birmingham, Bradford and London as he headlined the Independence celebrations in the U.K. in what has become an annual. He again lived up to expectations of his usual dapper style and endearing love songs, nostalgic hits and devout gospel renditions.
A record number of fans came out in Birmingham where he shared the stage with Lukie D and George Nooks who delivered a lively set preceding the arrival of Sanchez on stage at 3:00 a.m. to tumultuous applause and adulation. Amidst pomp and pageantry, the annual gala event celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Jamaica's Independence was held in August, 2005. The Premier Independence Ball, an annual fund-raising event, was hosted by South Florida's foremost charitable organizations: The Jamaica United Relief Organization, Members Only Social Club of Miami, Cornwall College, and Immaculate Conception High School Alumni Association of Florida. Sanchez Jamaica's Flag Carrier, completed his maiden voyage throughout Europe in August. He has flown the Black Gold and Green, Jamaica/Reggae flag to tremendous response, as he dominated all the summer festivals of 2004.
Sanchez culminated his Rest of the world No More Heartache Tour performing with The Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra at the Hammersmith Carling Apollo in London on August 8, and at a farewell festival in Nottingham on August 14. |
